Returns / exchange policy
We do not offer refunds, and only exchange with proof of purchase i.e the receipt.

engraving
We offer a simple engraving service on many items in store. Our machines can engrave in 'block' and 'script' in a linear orientation. The cost of this engraving starts from just £10.00. Dependant on the size and specific requirements of the engraving we ask for 1-2 weeks to complete your engraving.
We also offer a hand engraving service which is completed by James Todd, a local specialist. For more complex engraving such as crests, insignias, illustrations and for engraving on the inside of shank we highly recommend this service. Hand engraving available, price on application. Dependant on the size and specific requirements of the engraving we ask for 4-8 weeks to complete hand engraving.

repairs & services
We are fortunate to have a workshop capable of basic repairs to jewellery and watches. Simple jobs such as hook ups, soldering, polishing, ring sizing and reshaping, key & cementing loose stones, simple chain repairs, diamond testing, smoothing claws and chain adjustments can all be undertaken in our workshops, with an approximate turnaround time of 2-3 weeks.
Basic watch repairs including battery fitting, contact cleaning, bracelet / link adjustments, strap fittings, supplying and fitting lugs & bars can all be undertaken in our workshops, with some repairs fixable whilst you wait. Battery replacement can also be done on site, depending on your watch. Some may need to be outsourced.
For more complex repairs as well as estimates, your item may need to be sent away. We work with a trusted team of UK based specialist workshops who can offer their expertise and skills to ensure you get the perfect result. Specialist jewellery jobs include, but are not limited to, supplying and setting stones, claw work, rhodium plating, ring sizing and shaping, complex chain repairs, engraving, and bespoke creations. Dependant on the work involved turnaround time averages between 3-4 weeks, with stone-related jobs taking longer.
Please note that for re-stringing pearls and beads, all repairs will be sent away with approximate turnaround times 3-4 weeks.
For complex watch repairs and servicing we deal with Seiko, Rotary, Citizen, Omega, TAG and Swiss Brands, as well as other specialists. Typical repairs include part jobs such as a new glass or crown, repairs to bracelets and specialist batteries and resealing. Please note, some specialists may charge an estimate fee and/or postage and packaging. If in doubt, just ask.
All of your items are handled with care and professionally examined before being repaired. All items are insured and packaged appropriately for their destination.

bespoke service
We can offer a bespoke jewellery making service which brings your ideas to life. Whether you're looking to design a special engagement ring just as unique as she is, or perhaps a pair of earrings to perfectly match an existing necklace - the options are endless. There are many different options available, so it is advisable to speak to one of our sales consultants. If you have a drawing or photograph of what you are looking to create then bring it with you!

SPECIAL ORDERS
We can order direct from a wide range of jewellery and gift suppliers from across the UK, so if there is something you're looking for, just ask! We have many catalogues for you to browse for jewellery, watches and gifts. For bands and rings, additional sizes can be special ordered upon request and/or handmade just for you. Dependant on the ring size requested there may be additional charges to 'add' or 'increase' in size. For gifts, some items will be subject to availability.

- Choose your item from either of the catalogues, website or through discussion with a sales consultant.
- We will then ask you for: your contact details, a preferred due date and a deposit.
- Finally, a signature is necessary to confirm the order.
- We will then call you as soon as your item is ready to collect.

gift wrapping service
We offer a complimentary gift wrapping service on most items bought with us. Most gift items will have their own packaging, but if you would like us to add a bow or two, just ask! Jewellery bought with us will also come in a box as standard. Please note that in busy periods there may be a wait time for this service.
VALUATIONS
We offer a bookable valuation service that takes place on the last Wednesday of every month. An experienced registered valuer from the Guild of Valuers and Jewellers will value your chosen piece(s) on site. This is a chargeable service, where a deposit will be required to secure your time slot but will be deducted from your final valuation fee. The final valuation fee is dependant on the total value of the item(s) under evaluation. For prices simply speak to our sales consultants. Deposit prices start from £50.00.
Unfortunately, due to coronavirus restrictions, customers are not permitted to be present for your valuation - we will oversee the process for you. Please ensure your items are delivered to us before your time slot. If your items are not present for your valuation slot, you may lose your deposit. Time slots are first come first served.
